I'm starting a series of video blogs for TTO. In anticipation of our show on Friday, here is the first: I was playing around earlier with Weebly to create a potential web site for Tiny Tim Overdrive and I designed a couple of fake CD covers to put on the "Albums" page. I really like how the covers turned out, so I thought I'd share.
"The Basement Tapes" actually exists. It was our first effort at home-made recording and can be listened to on my music page. "Ukulele Gothic" is a fictitious darker and moodier first CD by TTO. The whole "gothic" idea was simply inspired by the picture I found on the internet. "Sasquatchewan" is the brilliant title that Joe has proposed for our recently recorded demo. I found this image on the internet as well - it is a promotional image for Washington State's Sasquatch music festival. Enjoy! The weekend's recording with the band went well. Thank goodness someone else is producing, cuz man, that's a lot of tracks and takes to wade through! I'm looking forward to the final results after Producer Mark has worked his magic! February 5th we will, in all likelihood, be playing at the Purple Crab on Main. It isn't confirmed yet, but is looking good. We'll be the opening act for a disco band, of all things. Good thing we already cover Donna Summers' Bad Girls! Finally, I leave you with a video. It is a track from Emily Loizeau's latest album. I just stumbled upon the video today and it rocks-all-get-out! Enjoy! |
