Tiny Tim Overdrive - The Basement Tapes
I play in an all-ukulele cover band. In November 2009 we stuck a microphone in the room during a practice. "Four musicians, three ukuleles, too many beers, one microphone - Tiny Tim Overdrive's "The Basement Tapes!"
Greyson - Tegan & Sarah
In 2004 I was learning how to use iMovie. I saw an amazing Batman fanfilm on the internet called Greyson and had its images in my head while listening to Walking with a Ghost by Tegan and Sarah later that day. I decided to try and marry bits of the fanfilm with footage from a Tegan & Sarah documentary that was on the CD and create a pretend music video for the pretend Batman motion picture. This may be the first thing I ever did in iMovie.
i Collide
In the mid-90's Debbi Marsellos and I played music around southern Quebec under the name "i Collide" and enjoyed a little success in our own teeny-tiny way. Somewhere around 1996 we recorded a demo-tape with Quebec recording artist and producer Carol Dubreuille.
I wrote the songs, sang, and played the guitars while Debbi sang and came up with some beautiful harmonies.
In the end, while this cassette makes me cringe to this day it also contains some promising material. I decided to bite the bullet and upload the songs for your enjoyment and possible amusement...
And to appease the die-hard Collide-Heads out there - you know who you are!
Enjoy!
